「喪禮告別式英文」若寫 invitation，記得白事不是 party。用 We will hold a funeral service at… 即可。
一段可改的英文通知
結構：who passed away、relationship、date and time、place with address、whether the service is open、contact。不要在郵件寫身分證。地址與殯儀館名冊一致最好，並附地圖。
身後事若還包括領體和火化，分開句子，見身後事。
宗教詞不要混
Christian funeral、Buddhist funeral、Taoist funeral、secular memorial 是不同場合。詩歌、經文、上香，用該場的語言。見基督教喪禮等。
寫給外籍同事的短句
可以用：Thank you for letting us know. I will attend the funeral at [time] at [parlour name]. Please let me know if condolence money or flowers are being received. 若不能出席：I am sorry I cannot attend. Please convey my sympathies to the family.
不要在公司群組討論民俗生肖，英文更易被理解成歧視。禁忌說明見什麼人不宜參加喪禮。
殯儀館英文名稱怎樣處理
有館有官方英文，有館對外只用中文。電郵可寫中文全名，下一行寫粵語拼音或地址英文（街道名以地政總署或地圖為準）。本站獨立頁有地圖，可把搜尋結果或該／名冊頁寄出。不要翻譯牌照類別時寫錯：undertaker 不是 funeral parlour。
身後事英文不要寫成一句哲學
After-death arrangements include: collecting the body, death registration at Immigration, funeral, cremation or burial, and placing the ashes. 需要法律意見時寫 solicitors，不要叫本站代辦。死亡登記總數圖表在統計，那不是個人紀錄。
